Lori J. Schmitt, R.N.
Lori Schmitt is the Regional Manager of Market
Development for the Cleveland Clinic Pain Management Centers. The
Cleveland Clinic Health System has eleven pain
management centers located throughout Northeast Ohio. Lori has over fifteen
years of experience in Ambulatory Care, Quality Improvement and Health Care
Marketing and Education. Her achievements include the production of seven
procedure specific patient education videos and audiocassettes and several
published articles that have appeared in Nursing Journals as well as Senior
publications. Her columns appear monthly in a publication entitled, Words
to the Wise that is distributed throughout Northeast Ohio and is
free to the public. Lori has served her community as an elected City Council
member in the City of Mayfield Heights and
has represented her community on the Commission on Aging. As an Associate
faculty member of a National teaching organization based in Maryland, Lori has
taught health care professionals in over 25 states over the last seven years.
Carole Botfa
Carole Botfa is the Manager of Market Development
of one of the largest healthcare companies, ManorCare
Health Services. ManorCare Health Services are specialists in improving the quality of
lives in senior adults. Carole is responsible for directing all external marketing for the
Cleveland/Akron area with Assisted Living, Alzheimer's Assisted Living, Rehabilitation,
High Acuity/Post Hospital Care and Long Term Care Services. She has over 10 years
experience in the specialties of Neurological Rehabilitation, Assisted Living and Long
Term Care. Her vast teaching experience ranges from Kindergarten classes in Indiana to
educating families dealing with Alzheimer's disease. Experiencing her own fathers diagnosis
with Alzheimer's has given Carole much insight into the importance of family education.
Carole is also a board member of the Cleveland chapter of the American Diabetics
Association.
Both Carole Botfa and Lori Schmitt are members of the Mayfield Business, Community, Education, Alliance Foundation and have served on the East Metro American Heart Association Board.
